For this month’s magazine on Flowers and Fragrance, we explore the perfume-making industry of Kannauj and delve into the art of perfumery and its mythical or not-so-mythical connection with witchcraft.
We discuss careers in aromatherapy, the history of fragrances and perfumes, their connection to the mysterious human brain and how is it okay to not be able to express a sudden gush of feelings, triggered by a particular smell.
Through this issue, we make a statement, that smells, more often than not, trigger such innate feelings that we just can’t lock them away, for happiness held is the seed; happiness shared is the flower.
